The E12 light bulb socket, equipped with a photocell sensor, is capable of automatically turning on and off your standard light fixture at dusk and dawn, respectively. (Note: Ensure that there are no obstacles between the sensor and the light source.)

The off-delay function, programmed into the socket, allows the bulbs to remain on for 60 seconds or longer after the light source has been removed, preventing the bulbs from flickering repeatedly in the event of a sudden strong light source, such as car lighting.

To install the socket, simply screw the candelabra bulbs into the adapter, and then secure the adapter to the light fixture. When using multiple sockets together, it is important to ensure that the sensor faces the environmental light source to avoid being affected by the light from other bulbs.

The socket is compatible with E12 candelabra-based bulbs, making it suitable for a variety of applications, including porch lights, front door lights, and garage door coach lights. However, it is not recommended to use the light sensor socket with opaque or frosted-glass light fixtures, as a clear light cover is preferred to allow the light sensor to accurately detect the light source. The socket is designed for indoor or outdoor dry-place use.
